5G Pre-Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • CMX500: Pre-Integration of new 5G gNB features with a real UE as part of the SiSu (Signaling Subsystem) Pre-
  • Integration Team
  • Quickly provide feedback and investigate issues in close collaboration with stack and signaling development teams
  • Script writing using python in CMX XLAPI framework
  • Maintenance and extension of an automated regression environment based on Jenkins and Git
  • Analysis of regression tests results, with corresponding follow-up of failures

Your profile:

  • University degree in Telecommunication / Computer Science/ Software Engineering
  • > 5 years’ experience in 5G/LTE
  • Excellent understanding of 5G 3GPP mobile communication protocols from PHY to Application Layer.
  • Experience analyzing 5G/LTE protocol logs
  • Experience with mobile radio communication testers (CMW/CMX experience is beneficial)
  • Basic understanding of RF principles especially OTA
  • Experience writing test scripts (Python experience is beneficial)
  • Experience testing with mobile phones, automating them, and analyzing UE logs (QXDM is beneficial)
  • Critical and creative thinking skills to analyze and debug problems even if they are not in the area of expertise
  • Takes ownership and drives results
  • Customer focused
  • Fluent in English / German (beneficial) to communicate with internal teams
